Finely cut dark green leaves with a stronger flavor than standard arugula both in nuttiness and spiciness. A compact plant great for cut and come again harvests throughout the cool spring and fall seasons. Wild arugula also performs better in summer heat, although once the plant flowers, the leaves increase in peppery flavor. Leaves are best picked when 4-5" and become more intense in flavor as they grow older. Use in salads, garnishes, arugula pesto, or wilted overtop pizza.
Arugula prefers moist, well-drained soil. Fall planted arugula may overwinter for the following spring.
