Similar to broccoli raab but even more sweet and tender. A traditional Chinese green with dark green leaves and multiple purple flowering stalks. Best if harvested early at 8-10" lengths to promote branching and additional tender harvests. Enjoy fresh in salads or sautéed.
Broccoli is a cool season crop that grows best in the spring or fall and does not tolerate summer heat. Prefers fertile, consistently moist, well-drained soil.
