Classic herb with sturdy stems, and excellent, flavorful foliage. Foliage is bright and tangy and used in a variety of Asian and Latin cuisines. Flowers are edible, forming white umbels and attract pollinators and beneficial insects. Seeds form if flowers are left in place and can be collected and used in cooking as the spice Coriander. Cilantro prefers fertile, well-drained soil.
