Tiny dark gray-green fragrant leaves cover the woody stems on this small, upright perennial herb. 

The most popular thyme for culinary use on the market. Leaves are wonderful for culinary use both fresh and dried. Pale purple flowers appear in May-July that are attractive to pollinators. Evergreen.

Thyme prefers medium to dry, well drained soil.
