Marrubium vulgare

Horehound has been used since ancient times for its herbal properties. The leaves are textured, silver-gray, and covered with downy hairs. Blooms appear punctuated on long stems above the foliage in midsummer.

Horehound is highly adaptable to a wide range of soils, but generally prefers well-draining soil.
