Actaea simplex ‘James Compton’ (Bugbane)

A more compact selection perfect if you want the effect of Actaea simplex but in a smaller footprint. Bronze-purple divided foliage takes on a lacey appearance and in late summer tall flowering stems rise above the foliage topped with fragrant blush pink to white blooms that sway in the breeze. Synonymous with Cimicifuga simplex ‘James Compton’.
