Alcea rugosa (Hollyhock)

A durable and rust resistant hollyhock with creamy yellow single blooms on tall sturdy bloom stalks. The foliage has a rougher texture than other hollyhocks. A must have for cottage gardens adding height and drama to the back of the border. Remove spent flower stalks to encourage the plant to re-bloom the following year or leave the stalks to allow this biennial to self-seed.
