Anacyclus pyrethrum var. depressus (Mount Atlas Daisy)

Low growing evergreen alpine plant with bright white daisy-like blooms with yellow centers. The underside of each petal has a flash of red which shows beautifully as they unfurl from the buds. Silver-green fernlike foliage forms a dense mat and is a lovely groundcover for well-drained areas of the garden.
