Anemonella thalictroides (Rue Anemone)

A dainty woodland ephemeral with pure white blooms. Flowering stalks, often 3 at a time carry a single flower each that hovers above the foliage and can have between 5-10 petals each, although most typically only five. Leaves have gentle lobes and are reminiscent of meadow rue, leading to its common name of Rue Anemone. Also known as Thalictrum thalictroides.
