Arctostaphylos ‘Massachusetts’ (Bearberry)

An evergreen shrub, with small leathery, glossy, dark green leaves that become red in the winter.  Cluster of pink to white flowers that are followed by bright red, edible berries on bronze stems. Height 6-12".

Arctostaphylos attracts bees, birds, butterflies and hummingbirds to the garden. Prefers dry to medium well drained soil. Tolerates dry, poor, and rocky soils. Drought tolerant when established.
