Purple-rose lance shaped flowers overtop of mahogany red turning to green foliage. Perfect in mass plantings in a woodland garden. One of the tallest varieties of Astilbe. Height 40".
Astilbe attracts bees and butterflies to the garden. Prefers moist, well drained soils, does not like to be dry. Heavy shade tolerate, can handle sun in the cooler climates. Deer and rabbit resistant.
