Baptisia alba (False Indigo)

In spring purple stems emerge from the ground that give way to lovely clumps of silvery green foliage. In late spring to early summer, white blooms emerge along the dark flowering stems blooming from bottom to top in a stunning display. Seed pods are near black and continue the visual appeal from summer to fall. An excellent and sturdy native plant perfect for any meadow style planting.
