Warm season native clumping prairie grass with fine textured foliage and unique flowers and seedheads that grow from the flowering stalk and hang perpendicular to the ground. ‘Blonde Ambition’ is taller than the straight species with flowers that emerge pale green instead of reddish and mature to a lovely light sandy color remaining from summer through autumn.
