Carex amphibola (Creek Sedge)

A rugged and versatile native sedge with attractive green compact semi-evergreen foliage. Height 8-12".

Carex attracts birds and butterflies to the garden. Prefers moist to wet well drained soil. Tolerates sun with adequate moisture. Turtles will eat the seed heads. Will self seed in the garden. Cool season grass. Deer and rabbit resistant.
