An evergreen clump of glossy, arching, lime green foliage with small green flower spikes. Height 1-2'.
Carex attracts bees, birds and butterflies to the garden. Prefers average, dry to moist well drained soils. Drought tolerant when established. Tolerates alkaline soils, clay soils, dry shade, rocky soils and wet areas. Will spread aggressively in the ideal conditions. Cool season grass. Squirrels will eat the seed heads. Deer and rabbit resistant.
