Bright green, evergreen foliage that matures into clumps. Bronze flower spikes appear above the foliage. Height 1-3'.
Carex attracts birds and butterflies to the garden. Can tolerate dry, moist or wet soils. Tolerates full sun to full shade, heat, humidity, clay, sand, dry shade and mowing. Drought tolerate when established. Will reseed in the garden. Cool season grass. A great alternative to lawn. Deer and rabbit resistant.
