Strap-shaped, semi-evergreen blades of powdery blue-green are tidy and dense. Spreads slowly. In early-spring, greenish white scaly flower spikes are displayed above the foliage. Height 8-12”.
Carex attracts birds and butterflies to the garden. Prefers average, medium to moist soil. Drought tolerant when established. Tolerates dry shade and wet areas. Cool season grass. Deer and rabbit resistant.
