A very low-maintenance native deciduous shrub with a compact habit, dark green foliage and clusters of tiny fragrant white flowers. Height 3-4'.
Ceanothus attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds to the garden. Prefers loamy, rocky, average, dry to medium well drained soil. Drought tolerant when established. Tolerates alkaline soils, controlled burns, poor soils and salts.
