Extremely vigorous and floriferous, this selection has medium sized flowers of 4-6 sepals that are a rich royal purple, with reddish purple center bars. Developed by Brother Stefan Franczak, a Jesuit monk living in Warsaw, this robust selection was then propagated and introduced to the gardening world by Raymond Evison. Excellent resistance to Clematis wilt. Pruning Group 3.
