Cylindropuntia x anasaziensis is a naturally occurring hybrid found in southwestern Colorado and most likely a cross between C. imbricata and C. whipplei. ‘BODO’ is a shorter form reaching only 18” but sprawling up to 3 feet wide with pink flowers. Stem segments are oblong and medium green turning a deep purple in winter. As with all cacti, a sharp draining soil is a necessity.
