Large, deciduous fern with lanced shaped, green fronds. Turns coppery in the fall. Height 2-3'.
Prefers humusy, rich, average, medium moisture well drained soil. Do not allow to dry out. Tolerates heavy shade and clay soil. Rabbit resistant. Perfect for a woodland garden.
