Upright and outward facing magenta colored petals surrounding a dark orange cone. These flowers are on a vibrant deep red stem emerging from a compact, bushy plant. Height 15-24".
Echinacea attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. Prefers dry to medium well drained soil. Drought tolerate when established. Tolerates heat, humidity and poor soils. Deadhead to promote new blooms or leave the seed heads for the birds. Deer resistant. A Piet Oudolf selection.
