Echinops bannaticus ‘Taplow Blue’ (Globe Thistle)

Perfectly round powdery steel blue flower heads, deeply cut foliage of prickly dark green leaves, downy and white underneath. Height 4-5'.

Echinops  attracts bees and butterflies. Prefers poor, dry to medium well drained soil. Tolerant of heat and humidity. Drought tolerate when established. Deadhead to prevent self seeding. Deer and rabbit resistant.
