Eriogonum umbellatum (Sulphur Buckwheat)

Tough as nails semi-woody subshrub with gray green spatula shaped leaves forming loose clusters.  Bright yellow frilled clusters of yellow blooms flower from summer through fall. Flowers are attractive to pollinators and leave behind beautiful, dried flowers lovely in small arrangements. Low maintenance native and easy to grow in well drained soils.
