Bred by plant breeder Yohei Hosogai as a hybrid of the Chinese native Filipendula palmata and Japanese native Filipendula multijuga. Staying less than 3 feet tall, this is a more compact Filipendula perfect for any sized sun to part shade garden with adequate moisture.
