Gaultheria procumbens (American Wintergreen)

Evergreen shrub with leathery green leaves that turns red in the fall.  Small white to pink flowers following by red edibles berries. This will make a beautiful groundcover in a wooded area. Height 3-6".

Gaultheria attracts birds and other wildlife to the garden. Prefers moist well drained soil. Drought tolerant when established.
