Cascading soft mounds of rich green leaves have a bamboo-like look, spreading slowly, eventually forming thick masses with reddish coloration in early fall. This variety seems to be tougher than the variegated forms. Height 18-24”.
Prefers humus rich, moist well drained soil. Tolerates full shade. Intolerant of clay soils, very dry soils, and poorly drained soils. Warm season grass. Deer resistant.
