Deep velvety crimson flowers are encircled in a thin golden halo and are pollinator magnets from late summer into fall. A multi-branched and very floriferous and compact selection from Dutch breeder Inez Arnold. Heleniums are a must have to blend the summer garden into fall.
Don't be fooled by the common name "Sneezeweed," it comes from the historic use of adding dried Helenium into snuff to induce sneezing as a treatment for colds. Ragweed is more likely the cause of your September sniffles.
