Heliopsis helianthoides var. scabra ‘Bleeding Hearts’ (False Sunflower)

Intense orange-red flowers maturing to golden orange with a red center on jet black stems over deep green foliage with bronze highlights. Height 36-40".

Heliopsis attracts bees, birds and butterflies to the garden. Prefers dry-medium, well drained soil. Drought tolerate when established. Tolerates a wide range of soils including poor and rocky. Deadhead to promote new buds. Will self seed in the garden. Deer resistant.
