Bright, brilliant, shaggy, red flowers over top of bright green foliage. This variety's leaves are very fragrant and less susceptible to powdery mildew. Height 2-3'.
Monarda attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. Prefers moderately fertile, humus rich, moist well drained soil. Do not all to dry out. Deadhead to promote new blooms. Deer and rabbit resistant.
