Green to bluish foliage which turns to a golden fall color. The light reddish pink airy panicles open in late summer. Height 3-6′.
Panicum attracts birds and butterflies to the garden. Prefers average, medium to wet soils. Drought tolerant when established. Tolerates air pollution, clay soils, dry soils, occasional flooding and sandy soils. Warm season grass. Deer resistant.
