Fushia blooms on upright compact plants with bright green narrow lanceolate leaves. Originally given to horticulturist Dr. Allan Armitage as a garden seedling (presumably from a gardener named Wanda), this hybrid phlox rated highly in the University of Georgia trials. It's the perfect compact size, doesn't flop, is very mildew resistant, and will bloom and re-bloom from summer to fall. Don't be afraid to cut it back after it blooms, it will just get better looking and bloom yet again.
