Semi evergreen perennial with masses of bright pink flowers over top of olive green leaves. Height 6-9".
Saponaria attracts bees and butterflies to the garden. Prefers average, dry to medium, slightly alkaline well drained soil. Drought tolerant when established. Intolerant of heat and humidity, but tolerates extreme cold. Cut back hard to keep its shape and to encourage reblooming. Will self seed in the garden. Deer resistant.
