Sedum spurium ‘John Creech’ (Stonecrop)

(a.k.a Phedimus spurius ‘John Creech’)

(Caucasian Stonecrop, Crimson Stonecrop, Two fringed Stonecrop)

A standard in groundcover sedums. Vigorous, low-growing dark green scalloped foliage with pink blooms. Height 3-6″.

Exceptionally low, tight-matting stonecrop with small, rounded green leaves that hug the ground and suppress weeds. Light pink flower clusters appear in summer, creating a soft carpet of bloom. Extremely tough and tolerant of foot traffic, heat, and lean soils, making it a go-to groundcover for sunny, dry locations and rock gardens.
