Architectural umbellifer with glaucous, finely divided foliage and large, domed umbels of pale lilac to white flowers in summer. The strong seedheads add structure and interest after flowering and work well in meadow or gravel gardens. Prefers full sun and sharply drained, often calcareous soils and pairs beautifully with ornamental grasses and airy perennials.
