Solidago rigida (Stiff Goldenrod)

An upright perennial with attractive golden yellow, flat top of flower clusters. Height 3-5'.

Not only does Solidagos give late season color to the garden but also food for the bees and butterflies. Prefers moist, well drained soils.  Drought tolerate when established. Tolerates poor, dry soils. May self seed in the garden. Deer resistant.
