Thalictrum flavum subsp. glaucum (Yellow Meadow Rue)

Also called yellow meadow rue, this lovely species from Northwestern Africa and Spain adds a note of whimsy to the cottage border. Divided leaves are blue-green with a slightly silvery cast and are often used in flower arrangements. Tall flowering stalks are topped with soft buttery yellow intricate blooms that appear soft and fluffy. A striking combination of foliage texture and flower color. Excellent for moist soils in full sun or partial shade.
