Athyrium filix-femina ‘Victoriae’ (Victorian Lady Fern)

This form of Lady Fern was first noted in a fernery in Scotland and its exact natural origin is unknown, although presumed to be European. A delicate variety with crested frond tips and pinnae that crisscross over each other creating an “X” pattern. The overall effect is lacey and graceful and makes an excellent foil for bold colors and forms.
